Download the Family Circle App

One simple setup. You�ll choose Online or Offline inside the Family Circle app during first-run or later in settings.

Mode is selected in the app (no choice needed here).
Heads-up: After you install Family Circle, any Word or PDF files you upload will be stored automatically in your Documents folder:
Windows %USERPROFILE%\\Documents\\Family Circle
macOS/Linux ~/Documents/Family Circle

Setup

Step 1: Download Family Circle

Get the installer package. You�ll pick Online or Offline inside the app after install.

Step 2: Install Family Circle

Extract the ZIP and run the installer. When you first launch the app, follow the prompts.

Step 3: Choose Your Mode (inside the app)

During first-run (or anytime via Settings ? Connection Mode), select Online or Offline. No selection is needed on this page.

Optional: Offline Prerequisite (Granite / Ollama)

If you choose Offline in the app, you�ll be prompted to install the local SLM prerequisite (Granite via Ollama). You can also prepare it now:
